I've been working professionally in design since 2005, (though my first project was a t-shirt for the fake fencing team that I was on in high school in 2001...you should ask me about that sometime).
I graduated from Florida Christian College in 2006 with a double-major in Bible and Graphic Design. I have been able to use my degree working as the Marketing Director of a college, the Director of Design/Branding at several multi-site churches, in the UK as a youth worker, as the graphic designer of the US Quidditch Association (yes, that's real - and yes, I'm a Ravenclaw) and in various freelance design opportunities. Currently, I work at Real Life (www.real.life) as the Director of Branding while continuing to be involved in freelance design opportunities with clients from around the world.
I love page layout (posters, booklets, etc.), shirt design, and logo creation (or updating/refreshing an old logo!), though I have created a graphic for almost everything under the sun. Consistency of brand is important to me, so I am easily able to freelance work for various companies while working hard to keep their brand/design intact.
In my free time, I love to paint, travel the world (I've visited 15 countries so far!), write, annoy people with my witty puns and drink an obscene amount of coffee and tea.
